Granite windowsills
DESCRIPTION
Granite is a natural resource that has a very wide use in building and architecture. It is one of the best finishing materials inside and outside buildings. Windowsills made of this material definitely improve the appearance of interiors being additional decoration element.
ADVANTAGES
Granite basically only has advantages. Windowsills made of this material have unusual resistance to friction and effect of weather conditions. Because of the fact that it is one of the hardest and toughest stones, it can serve for years without needing special maintenance processes. Granites perfectly suit any interior and harmonize well with various materials such as wood, metal or any other modern materials. It also is a low-porous material, what results in high resistance to frost and not being prone to negative weather effects. All this makes granite a perfect surface material for terraces, patios and outside stairs.

Cleaning and maintenance of granite
Granite is a material that is unusually stable, hard and resistant to weather, acids, alkalis, grease, water, scratches caused by kitchen equipment and high temperatures. Depending on the nature of contamination, all available cleaning products can be used.
Before using granite, we recommend applying professional stone impregnate. Later in everyday care of working top, windowsill or stairs, it is enough to use water with little amount of cleaning fluids (i.e. washing up liquid). When using granite, it is not recommended to use wax.
In JARO-MAX range, there are 2 impregnates for natural stone: HYDREX and AGER. AGER apart from basic impregnation, additionally refreshes color and stresses beauty of the stone. It is important to remember that when using such impregnate, surface need to be absolutely clean.
IMPORTANT!
Products made of granite are natural products. Structure of a ready product might be different from presented samples. It is not considered a defect if there are veins or micro-fractures visible. This is only a proof that the stone is natural and high quality. Eventual returns will be considered before installation of the sills (excluding hidden defects).
