Agglomarble windowsills
DESCRIPTION
Marble conglomerate is an industrial product achieved by technological connection of selected natural stone shards (around 95%) and special polyester resins (5%) being a binder for this material.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- polyester resin as an ingredient of conglomerate, can be damaged if exposed to alkaline products for too long. It is recommended to use adhesives and cleaning products with pH of more than 10 and leaving such products on the surface
- Main enemy of conglomerate products are contaminations that, if not removed, will leave dangerous patina, which causes loss of shine and surface damage. After thorough initial cleaning, it is crucial to maintain cleanliness and regularly clean with water and cleaning products with neutral pH
- Popular products damaging the surface are: juices, shaving foam, alcoholic beverages, soda, perfumes, nail varnish remover, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, cleaning products not destined for stone, hair products, shampoos, soaps containing EDTA, stone salt, sand, toothpaste, toilet cleaning products, pipe cleaning products and all liquids containing acids or alkalis.

- Approximate weight of 1m² material with 20mm thickness is around 52kg, 30mm – around 75kg
Colors
Offered color range allows to freely design building interiors. By installing marble conglomerate windowsills it is possible to stress the character of the interior even more. This material allows even wider use, table tops, stairs, façade elements etc. Our range includes thick grain marble conglomerate (i.e. Botticino) and thin grain (i.e. Beige Marfil).
Cleaning and conservation of conglomerate
For cleaning and maintenance of conglomerate products, only products with neutral pH should be used. Surface is to be cleaned with warm water and wiped with dry cloth made of soft fabric.
For maintenance, following products can be used
- Plain wax, which will not change neutral shade, but only stress and enliven it’s beauty
- Special products for cleaning stone surface pores. These products primarily protect minerals from soaking. JARO-MAX has 2 impregnates for natural stone in their offer: HYDREX and AGER. It is important to remember that when using this type of impregnate, surface has to be absolutely clean, because impregnate creates a plain film on a surface, that does not let humidity through. Any remaining contamination will then be seen through the film and it will not be possible to remove it using conventional means.
IMPORTANT!
Agglomarble and natural stone products are natural products. Structure of a ready product might be different from presented samples. It is not considered a defect if there are veins or micro-fractures visible. This is only a proof that the stone is natural and high quality. Eventual returns will be considered before installation of the sills (excluding hidden defects).
